Hazel Louise (Horne) Walk

Hazel Louise Walk, 85, DuBois, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born September 6, 1932 in Niagara Falls; daughter of the late James & Esther (Jury) Horne. She was married to Leo Walk, he preceded her in death in “1997”.

Hazel is survived by two children, a daughter Robin Kiehlmeier of Sykesville and a son James Walk of Reynoldsville, a sister Alice Courson of Buffalo, two brothers Raymond (Jean) Horne of Falls Creek and James (Cindy) Horne of Reynoldsville, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Hazel was a homemaker who loved to babysit kids, collect angels and was a huge Elvis fan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son Shane Walk and four sisters, Mary Kessler, Joyce Melinda Duttry, Rachel Shaffer and Virginia Keagle. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 19, from 4-6pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow on Monday at 6pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
