Leo Joseph "Bug Catcher" Moran

Leo Joseph “Bug Catcher” Moran, 88, DuBois, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Highland View Nursing Home in Brockway after a short illness. He was born October 12, 1928, in Wellsville, NY; son of the late Joseph & Alice Moran. He was married to Delores (Nulph) Moran; she preceded him in death in “2015”.

Leo is survived by a daughter Mary (Steve) Neal, Penfield, a sister, Regina Haxton of Batavia, NY, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Leo lived most of his life in DuBois. He previously worked for Fairman Drilling Co., enjoyed watching horse pulls and was a member of the VFW, Sweed Club and Polaski Club.

Leo was also preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Fields and a brother Robert Moran.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 4-6pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Private Services as well as burial in LakeLawn Cemetery in Reynoldsville will take place on Thursday.
