            Margaret Mae (McDonald) Olson, 88, Reynoldsville, formerly of DuBois, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Christ the King Manor after a lengthy illness. She was born January 28, 1929 in Reynoldsville, PA. She was the daughter of the late George & Ethel (Travis) McDonald. She attended Reynoldsville High School until her jr year when she left school to take care of her mother. On August 19, 1948, she married Donald Paul Olson. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2001.

            Margaret is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane (Albert) Martin & Patty (Raymond “Buddy”) Angeletti, both of Treasure Lake, a son in-law Thomas Walls of Reynoldsville, one sister, Mary Jane (John “Jack”) Snyder of N. Tonawanda, NY, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

            Margaret is a Christian who loved Jesus, having attended First Assembly of God Church in Brookville & DuBois. She grew up in Sandy Valley on the family homestead. She was a homemaker all her life and enjoyed watching game shows.

            In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter Kathi Walls, a son Donald D. Olson, two grandsons Brent Walls & Shaun Olson, two sisters Kathryn Anthony & Adaline Smith, three brothers John, William & Harry and seven infant siblings.

            A private service was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois with Pastor David Nagele officiating. Burial followed in Reynoldsville Cemetery.
