Maria C. (Conte) Dodd

Maria C. Dodd, 88, DuBois, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Penn Highlands Healthcare. She was born September 4, 1929, in Naples, Italy, the daughter of the late Raphael & Ersilia (Esposito) Conte. Maria was married to Robert E. Dodd, Sr., he survives in DuBois.

Maria is also survived by two sons Robert E. Dodd, Jr. and Tony (Katherine) Dodd both of DuBois and five grandchildren.

Maria was a homemaker most of her life. She loved the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, playing BINGO, cooking, and gardening.

Maria lived in Italy for 22yrs before meeting her husband who was stationed in Italy.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 12noon until 2pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home.
