William L. "BJ" Johnson, Sr

William LeRoy “BJ” Johnson, Sr, 67, Brockport, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian. He was born August 13, 1950 in DuBois, PA; son of the late William “Newt” & Mary (Knisly) Johnson.

William was a Truck Driver for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time at the Chatter Box with his friends and being Mr. Fix It for his family. He also liked Car Races and Hunting. He attended Crenshaw Community Church.

He is survived by five children Michael “Buzzy” Buskirk, William “BJ” Johnson, jr,  and Tracy Himes all of DuBois, Angel Johnson of Brockport and Heidi (Carl) Runkle of York, PA, a sister Sandra Priest, three brothers Robert (Peggy) Johnson, Daniel Johnson and Harold “Speed” (Barb) Johnson all of DuBois, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his parents, brother Steven and sister Marlene.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 12 until 2 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at the funeral home at 2pm with Pastor Faith Bryan officiating. Burial will take place in Beechwoods Cemetery.
