Janice Brocheys Obituary

Janice C. “Jan” Brocheys, 80, DuBois, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was born August 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Lawrence, Sr & Reba (Henry) Himes. She married Harold “Butch” Brocheys on March 7, 1964. He preceded her in death.

Jan was a 1959 graduate of Punxsutawney HS. She had worked in the past at the bakery at Shop ‘N’ Save. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, quilts and her grandchildren.

She leaves behind a daughter Jennifer Harper of DuBois, four grandchildren Kayla, Brittany, Tara and Roy Harper all of DuBois, and four brothers Cal, Larry, Art and Ray Himes.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janice was also preceded in death by two brothers David & George Himes and two sisters Alice May Himes & Clara Lauber.
