Frederic H. Christian

Frederic Harwood Christian, 82, DuBois, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Nelson Golden Years. He was born June 26, 1935 in DuBois, PA; son of the late Mark and Pearl (Clouser) Christian.

He was a 1953 graduate of Sandy High School, after which he was drafted into the US Army.

Frederic lived many of years in Tonawanda, NY. While in NY he worked as a supervisor for Maintenance & Laundry at a Nursing Home in Buffalo, before returning to DuBois in “2009”

He is survived by two sisters Peg Cyphert of DuBois and Kathy (Delbert) States of Reynoldsville, two brothers Charles (Amy) Christian of Arizona and Tony (Marilyn) Christian of DuBois.

Frederic was also preceded in death by five sisters, Rowene Nyland, Jane Cook, Sarah Pierce, Ruth Kocher aned Mary Lou Snyder, two brothers Dale & Dalbert Christian, and his long time friend David Valois.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 9am until 10:30am @ the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at 10:30am at the funeral home with Rev. Leo Cramer officiating. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
