Gail Marie Shaffer

Gail Marie Shaffer, 66, DuBois, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Highland View Healthcare.

She was born October 21, 1951, in DuBois, PA; a daughter of the late Eugene and Theresa (Dixon) Shaffer. She was a graduate of DuBois High School and a former member of Faith Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed reading and singing.

Gail is survived by one brother: Thomas “Tim” Shaffer of Sykesville, two sisters: Dorothy Thompson of Tonawanda and Linda Clark of Tyrone and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Lorain, Gerald and Robert Shaffer and two sisters: Donna McLead and Betty Himes.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 10am until 11am at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. A Memorial service will follow at 11am at the Funeral Home with Ray Shaffer officiating. Burial will take place in Salem Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
