Gloria G. (Heffner) Frantz

Gloria G. Frantz, 61, Helvetia, passed away suddenly, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born August 28, 1956 in DuBois; daughter to the late Benjamin “Ben” & Ruby (Hartzfeld) Heffner. She married Lloyd Frantz on November 16, 1974; he preceded her in death on August 12, 2017.

Gloria was a graduate of DuBois High School and DuBois Business College and Penn State DuBois. She attended West Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards with her brothers & sisters and spending time with her family. Gloria worked as a Kitchen Cook for many years at DuBois Village.

Gloria is survived by four children, Kimberly Frantz of Helvetia, Kelly Jo (Orville) George of Sykesville, Jessica (David) Cowley of Reynoldsville and Allen Frantz of Luthersburg, two sisters, Sis (Bob) Hearn & Linda (Forrest) Henry, two brothers Ken (Barb) Heffner & Pete (Flossie) Heffner, all of DuBois, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband; she was also preceded in death by a brother Richard Heffner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8 and on Friday, from 11- 1 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in Sykesville. Funeral Services will follow on Friday at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Phil Colgan officiating.
