A. Paul Orcutt

A. Paul Orcutt, 90, Home Camp, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was born December 20, 1925 in Brackenridge, PA son of the late John E. and Mary E. (Potter) Orcutt. He married Gene M. (Bailey) Orcutt on March 7, 1948. She preceded him in death in 2013.

Paul was a 1944 Graduate of Corsica Union High School. He retired in 1974 from Atlantic Breeders Corp. Then he became a self employed Contractor for many years. 

Paul was a member of Home Camp United Methodist Church in Home Camp. He enjoyed gardening. He was a past DuBois Lions member and a lifetime member of Union Twp Firemen’s. He was on the DuBois Area School Board from 1996 – 2005.

Paul is survived by his four sons: Larry (Kathy) Orcutt of Home Camp, Val Orcutt of Home Camp, Steve (Penny) Orcutt of Rockton and Gary (Natalie) Orcutt of Rockton; one daughter: Karen (John) Thomas of Weedville; two sisters: Doris Larson of DuBois and Marian Masters of Kentucky; one brother Barry (Shirley) Orcutt of Corsica; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

Paul was preceded in death by his wife: Gene M. (Bailey) Orcutt; sister: Carol Martz and three brothers: John, Doyle and Bill Orcutt.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at Home Camp United Methodist Church in Home Camp. A celebration of life will follow at 1pm at the church with Pastor Richard Howe as celebrant. Burial will take place in Rockton Cemetery beside his wife.
