Alice Rose (Card) Snyder

Alice Rose (Card) Snyder, 85, Mt. Run Rd, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her daughter’s residence after a lengthy illness. She was born November 13, 1932 in Winterburn, PA; daughter of the late Grant & Ada (Johnston) Card. She married Charles Paul Snyder, he preceded her in death.

Alice is survived by two children, Edward Snyder, Binghamton, NY and Elma (Michael) Snyder, DuBois, a sister Arlene Dressler, Rockton, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Sandy High School. She attended DuBois Church of Christ Church. She loved gardening, ceramics and especially lighthouses.

Alice was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Cindy, a daughter Norma Joiner, a brother Robert Card and three sisters Betty Card, Janet Hamilton and Audrey Woods.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, from 11am until 1pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Rev. Keith J. Newell.
