Barbara Jean (Hoover) Snyder

            Barbara Jean Snyder, 73, Falls Creek, Passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital after a lengthy Illness. She was born October 21, 1942 in DuBois, daughter of the late Blaine D. and Velma V. (Fridley) Hoover.

            Barbara is survived by her two sons: Oliver H. Snyder, Reynoldsville, PA and Micheal L. Snyder and wife Audrey, Reynoldsville, PA; one brother: Calvin F. Hoover, Utah; three sisters: Mrs. Clifford (Ruth A.) Taylor, DuBois, Pamela M. Berkey, Brockway, and Luella Wray, DuBois; ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one special granddaughter: Desiree Porrin.

            Barbara was preceded in death by one daughter: Constance (Connie) A. Simpson, one son: Paul F. Snyder, one great-grandson: Hunter Irwin, one grand daughter: Nikki Burgard, one brother: Lee E. Hoover, one sister: Shirley A. Clark.

            Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, scrapbooking, camping and going to yard sales.

            Family suggests memorials to Hahne Cancer Center of DuBois.

            A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11am at the Penfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Hall officiating.
