Barbara L. Varga

Barbara L. Varga, 69, DuBois, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at Christ the King Manor. She was born November 22, 1950 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Ralph & Johanna (Shaffer) Johnston.

She was a graduate of Iroquois High School in Elma, NY. She had worked many of years for Greatbatch Inc. in Clarence, NY before moving to DuBois where she had worked as a cook at the Hitching Post until retirement.

Barbara leaves behind three children, Kimberly Geles, NY, Jeffrey Varga, NY and Cindy (John) Angelo, DuBois, two brothers, Charles Johnston, Grampian, David (Patty) Johnston, Wishaw, two sisters, Joan DuBeck, DuBois and Shirley Calvert of Reynoldsville and four grandchildren, Mitchell Geles, John Angelo IV, Michael Angelo and Hunter Varga.

At her request, there will be no services.
