Bernice Marie Duttry, 77, of Solada Road, DuBois, PA, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late John Maxwell and Phillis Mae (Hicks) Conley, born July 30, 1939 in DuBois, PA, she was married to Everett “Andy” Duttry who preceded her in death.
Bernice is survived by her son, John Klaiber of DuBois, and a sister, Donna Davies of Indiana, PA. Along with her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by two children, Dale Bell and Debbie Conley; a brother, Jim Conley and a sister, Lois Ramsey.
A member of the Bethany Evangelical Covenant Church of DuBois, and the SPCA, Bernice loved pets, country music, ceramics, playing BINGO and was very passionate in observance of patriotic holidays.
Born and raised in DuBois, she lived many years in Tonawanda, NY area and the past forty years in the Penfield and DuBois areas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. with a funeral service following on Thursday, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois with Pastor Barry Anthony.
Burial will take place next to her parents in the Taylor Cemetery of Falls Creek, PA.
