Betty Lou (Williams) Wells

Betty Lou Wells, 73, DuBois, passed away, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Penn Highlands in DuBois. She was born November 11, 1950 in DuBois; the daughter of the late Robert & Agnes (Minns) Williams. She married John R. Wells, Sr., who survives in DuBois.

Betty is also survived by a daughter Bobbie (Robert) Uhl, Brockport, a son John R. (Rene) Wells, jr, DuBois, a brother John “Jack” (Lynn) Williams, SC, two sisters Barbara Haas, Falls Creek and Sherry (Rodger) Nestor, SC, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Betty was a graduate of DAHS. She worked most of her life as a Letter Carrier for the Postal Service. She was a member of the American Legion in DuBois and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by a brother Gary and a sister Nancy.

A Celebration of Life and dinner will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 1pm until 4pm at the American Legion in DuBois. In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations to donors choice.
