Charles “Chuck” Irwin, Sr., 73, Reynoldsville, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, as the result of a work accident. He was born November 16, 1947 in Clearfield, the son of the late Frank & Rose (Maxwell) Irwin. He is married to Beverly (Tempest) Irwin.
In addition to his wife, Charles also leaves behind two children Amanda Irwin, Reynoldsville and Charles (Catherine) Irwin, Jr, Sykesville, two special step-children, Jake Peterson and Marshall “Bumpy” Peterson and several other step-children, two sisters, Mary Luce and Karen (Chuck) Riley, both of DuBois, three brothers, Victor, Frank, and Danny Irwin all of DuBois, and one grandchild, Arilyn Irwin.
Chuck worked as a Asbestos Abatement Project Manager for many years. He enjoyed hunting, getting together with family & friends especially the Williy family. Chuck was always the life of the party. He liked watching old westerns, especially in black & white and he loved riding & working with his horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Rosie, Bonnie and an infant sister and a step-son Bobby Allen Peterson.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17th from 2:30 until 4:30 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. A Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 4:30pm.
