Christopher "Scotty" Green

Christopher “Scotty” Green, 48, of Hollywood, PA, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois after fighting a good fight. He was born August 9, 1968 in Sweetwater, TN; son of the late Robert E. Green and Edna Mae (Edington) Green whom survives in Indiana, PA. He married Angela (Smith) Green on September 18, 2004; she survives in Hollywood, PA.

Scotty was born in Sweetwater, TN, raised in Indiana, PA and has made his home in Hollywood, PA for the past seven years.

Scotty is also survived by seven children: Sarah King of Indiana, PA, Krista Green of Toledo, OH, JaOnna Green of Penfield, Christopher Green of Turtle Creek, PA, Dontae Green of Toledo, OH, TaQuen Smith and DaSean Smith of Hollywood, PA, three sisters Claudia Greene, Springfield, KY, Pamela Green of Indiana, PA and Denise Weakland of Indiana, PA, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father Scotty is also preceded in death by an uncle Robert L. Edington & a grand-daughter Giavonna Faith Green.

Scotty was a member of the Penfield Firemen’s Club and enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was well known and loved by many and is now at peace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 11am – 2pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in Sykesville. Services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Calvin DuVall officiating.
