Dominic J. Moore

Dominic J. Moore, age 20, of Jared Street, DuBois, PA, died as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident on May 26, 2025.  A son of Joseph Moore and Christine Szalankiewicz of DuBois, he was born on February 13, 2005 in DuBois, PA. 

Along with his parents, Dominic is survived by: a brother, Kayne Moore of DuBois; two sisters, Haley Moore of McKeesport and Alexia Dixon of Houtzdale; grandparents, Shelley and Michael Altizer, Annette Szalankiewicz and Brian Smith, and Bill Moore; and great-grandparents, Mary Dixon, Gladine Smith, Nancy Moore, Cheryl and Gerry Magolis and Donna Hoffman.

Dominic is predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Wilford Dixon, Donald Smith, William Moore and Don Hoffman.

Dominic is a graduate of DuBois Area High School and has been working at Xylem for the past year.  He enjoyed skateboarding, video games and cooking.  He had lived in Buffalo/Niagara area for ten years and the past ten years in DuBois.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home following the visitation at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend David Nagele.
