Donna M. (Leach) Ellenberger

Donna M. Ellenberger, 86, formerly of Luthersburg, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Christ the King Manor after a lengthy illness. She was born February 19, 1939 in Luthersburg the daughter of the late Guy & Mae (Smith) Leach. She married Budd C. Ellenberger who preceded her in death.

She was a 1957 graduate of Brady Twp HS. She had worked as a secretary for Sandy Twp for many years before retiring. She loved playing guitar and singing with her family band.

Donna leaves behind a son Bryan (Kathleen) Ellenberger of Luthersburg, two daughters, Sherrie Anderson and Laurie Williams both of York, a sister Sandra (Norman) Hatten of Punxsutawney, a brother Vernon (Doris) Leach of Luthersburg, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and James and five sisters, Phyllis, Lois, Beatrice, Roberta, and Dorothy.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 11am until 12 noon at Christ the King Manor Chapel. Services will follow at the Chapel at 12 noon with Deacon Daniel Satterlee officiating. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery beside her husband.
