Emeline Santell Kerr

Emeline Santell Kerr, 23, DuBois, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born December 9, 1994, in DuBois, the daughter of the late Edward Kerr and Vicky Heilbrun who survives in DuBois.

In addition to her mother, Emeline is also survived by a sister Shawna-Sue Crytser of DuBois, a brother Sgt. Edward D. Sines, jr. of Johnstown, two uncles Carl (Cheryl) Heilbrun of Grampian and Ricky (Dee) Heilbrun of North Carolina, three nieces and four nephews.

She was a “2015” graduate of DAHS. Emeline knew how to persevere & be patient. She loved everyone she met & could cheer you up on your worst day. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Emeline is also preceded in death by two sisters, Desiree Smith and Deidre Steiner.

Visitation will be held today, Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
