Evelyn Bernice Renner, 98, DuBois, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at her residence after a short illness. She was born August 17, 1924, the daughter of the late George & Ethel (Duttry) Uren. In 1943 she married Albert J. Renner and together they built a house and family, he preceded her in death in 1993.
Carpentry or masonry, she was never afraid of any job! She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, flea markets, bass fishing and all of natures creatures especially the deer. She loved spending time with her family and with her beloved little companion Stormy!
Evelyn leaves behind two sons Larry Renner of Treasure Lake, Don & Deb Renner of Rockton and a daughter Bonnie Renner of DuBois, four grandsons, Cody, Larry, Michael and Braden Renner and a granddaughter Wendy Renner, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was also preceded in death by three brothers Therman, Richard and John Uren and two sisters Ladora Gontero and Driscilla Punchous and a daughter in-law Linda Renner. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 5 until 7pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow on Saturday at 7pm at the funeral home with Rev. Ray Shaffer officiating. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
