Fredric John McWilliams

Fredric John McWilliams, 82, Treasure Lake, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Penn Highlands of DuBois. He was born November 21, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA; son of the late John Brown & Marian (Lilley) McWilliams. He was married to Elizabeth “Betty” (Munn) McWilliams who survives in Treasure Lake.

Fredric is also survived by two daughters: Barbara Loraine Vidosh of DuBois and Janet Elizabeth (Mark) Davis of Merrillville, IN and one son: John Brown (Maria) McWilliams of New Paltz, NY, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his son: Matthew Michael McWilliams.

Fredric graduated from Smethport High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Penn State. He served in the US Airforce. He was a financial analyst for General Motors in Detroit for 25 years.  He was a member of Lakeside Methodist Church, Smethport Boro Council and Treasure Lake Lions for many years.

Fredric had lived in Smethport for many years.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the American Diabetes Association.
