Harold J. Smith

Harold J. Smith, 88, Reynoldsville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the DuBois Nursing Home. He was born December 27, 1936, in Brookville; a son or the late George W. & Margaret Jane (Hughs) Smith. He married Mary A. (Irwin) Smith, she preceded him in 2014.

He is survived by four children, Peggi Smith of Reynoldsville, Daniel (Lori) Smith of Fisher, Kenneth (Kim) Smith of Brookville, and William (Susan) Smith of Summerville. a brother Richard (Wanda) Smith of Brookville, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Harold was also preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Gerald, George, Jerry, James Smith and three sisters Shirley, Helen and Betty.

Harold enjoyed hunting and watching Nascar racing.

At Harold’s request, there will be no public visitation.
