Helen Faye Wyno, 85 of Christ the King Manor passed away Friday, July 5, 2024. Born in Brownsville, Pa on March 18, 1939 she was the daughter of the late George and Helen DeSatnik. She married the love of her life, Richard Wyno, who proceeded her in death in 1981. Faye retired from Best Western Inn and Conference Center where she made numerous friends she enjoyed over the years. She had a passion for home making, cooking and baking, and she cherished her little dog, Tigger.
She is survived by two daughters: Kelly Shaw of St Mary’s and Heidi Wyno of Pittsburgh. Her grandchildren, whom were her greatest joy, Samantha Shaw of Georgia, Brandon Shaw of St Mary’s, Cooper and Parker Bishop of Pittsburgh. Loving aunt to Lorae Fairman, Jamie Zimmerman and Jim Boyle, along with many great nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Carol Lynn Murray.
In addition to her parents and husband she was proceeded in death by her sister Marlene Boyle, her niece Renee Magee and her son in law Bill Shaw.
Faye was a loving and caring mother; she enjoyed sitting on her back porch with a good cup of coffee. She was funny and feisty; the best listener and she was the epitome of “your mother is always right” She will be treasured and missed forever.
There will be no service or visitation at Faye’s request.
Her family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at Christ the King Manor for providing excellent care and support, she loved so many of you.
