Hollis Lee Bloyer, Jr.

Hollis Lee Bloyer, Jr., age 51, of Reed Street, Falls Creek, PA, died suddenly, Monday, August 15, 2022 at West Penn Hospital of Pittsburgh.  A son of Hollis Lee Bloyer, Sr., of Wisconsin and Patricia Moore (Mrs. Mario Salizzoni, Sr.), of Brockport, he was born on May 6, 1971 in San Diego, CA.  On March 9, 1996 he married Hope Y. (Knapp), who survives at home.

Along with his parents and his wife, Hollis is survived by: eight children, Shawn (Megahn Rooney) Knapp of DuBois, Derek (Jenna) Bloyer of Falls Creek, Amber (Tyler Stephens) Bloyer of Falls Creek, Samantha (Casey Prough) Bloyer of Falls Creek, Sarah (Nick Neiswonger) Bloyer of Penfield, Mario (Angie) Salizzoni of DuBois, Frankie (Kayla) Boruch of Pine Glen and Deanna Drautz of DuBois; four brothers, Royal Miller of Idaho, James Bloyer of Clearfield, Mario (Kay) Salizzoni, Jr. of West Virginia and Shawn Bloyer of Wisconsin; a sister, Tracey Bloyer of Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.

Living most of his life in the DuBois Area, Hollis graduated from Jeff Tech of Reynoldsville.  He served in the US Armed forced in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and worked as a Floor Tech for Penn Highlands-DuBois.  He enjoyed kayaking, the outdoors, and anything he could with family and friends.

There will be no public visitation.

The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois with Reverend David Nagle.
