Irene (Serafini) Quinn

Irene Maria Quinn, 87, Reynoldsville, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born August 29, 1938 in Force; a daughter of the late John and Costanza (Parisi) Serafini. She married Richard Quinn; he preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage.

She was a 1957 graduate of Weedville High School and a graduate of St. Vincent Nursing School. Irene was in the Airforce during the Korean Conflict as a flight nurse. She was a member of St. Bernards Church in Falls Creek.

Irene leaves behind four children, Mary Quinn of Pittsburgh, Beth Gaston of Reynoldsville, Hope Quinn of California, and Richard Quinn of Mt. Pleasant, two sisters Lucille Farcus of Punxsutawney and Delores “Dolly” Auman of Weedville, and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was also preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Poinelli, Priscilla Young, Edith Logan, and Angeline Geitner, and four brothers, John, Costante, Charles, and Dominic Serafini.

At Irene’s request, there will be no services held. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
