James Edward Daugherty

James Edward Daugherty, 48, Stump Creek, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his residence. He was born October 8, 1973, in DuBois; the son of Pamela (Hoover) Berkey of Stump Creek and the late Donald Hunter Daugherty. He is married to Billie Jo (Bundy) Daugherty who survives in Stump Creek.

James leaves behind his wife Billie Jo, his mother Pamela and her significant other Paul Hoffman, two children, David Russell Daugherty and Cody James Daugherty both of Stump Creek, a sister Catherine (Dennis) Gibson of DuBois, two brothers, Joseph Leo (Christina) McDonald III of Sykesville and Daniel B. (Jenn) McDonald of Reynoldsville and a grandson Dylan Chase Daugherty of Stump Creek.

He had enjoyed playing midget football for the Reynoldsville Falcons and for the DuBois Beavers while in High School and had graduated from Jeff Tech. James and his wife were former owners of Fox’s Pizza Den in Reynoldsville.

James will be remembered by many, for the numerous things he had hauled over the years in his dump trucks.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022, from 5 until 7pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow on Tuesday at 7pm at the funeral home with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
