James Charles Dixon, 62, Sykesville, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 08, 1961 in Sabula, PA. He is preceded in death by his mother Lenara Dixon.
He was a graduate of Milton Hershey HS and Clearfield Co Vo-Tech in carpentry. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, and making his famous brownies and fudge. He was employed at Penn Highlands Health of DuBois as a Floor Tech.
James leaves behind his significant other Dena Haupt, two daughters Dustie (Bryant) Dahl of Sykesville and Amanda (Brandon) Coder of Penfield and two grandchildren.
He was a very generous and hardworking man who loved to lend a helping hand to everyone around him. He may have had a rough exterior, but had one of the most generous hearts around. If you needed something, Jim was your guy. He will be greatly missed.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in Sykesville. Online condolences can be made at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com
