Jeni D. (Elias) Slack

Jeni D. Slack, 61, DuBois, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville. She was born June 24, 1962, in Kane, PA. A daughter of the late Lael Gretchen (Wolfe) Ward and Eugene Elias who survives in New York.

 In addition to her father, Jeni leaves behind three children, Jessica Molnar – Brooks, Michael Lingenfelter and Megan Riley, all of DuBois, a sister Dawn Burnside of Rockton and seven grandchildren.

 Jeni graduated from Vo Tech in Cosmetology and from Penn State in Early Childhood Development. She had previously worked for the US Postal Services as a mail carrier. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and was known for her gifts & crafts.

 Jeni was preceded in death by her mother Lael, step-father John Ward and granddaughter Harper Riley.
