Joan Louise (Johnston) DuBeck

Joan Louise DuBeck, 71, DuBois, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Penn Highlands DuBois. She was born May 4, 1953, in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late Ralph & Johanna (Shaffer) Johnston.

Joan leaves behind a son Richard Doksa and a daughter Nicole DuBeck both of DuBois, a sister Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) Calvert of Reynoldsville, two brothers Charles Johnston of Grampian and David Johnston of Wishaw, six grandchildren, Caleb & Colton Doksa, Tyler, Ellie, & Dylan DuBeck, and Jasmin Miles.

Joan was a tattoo artist for most of her life. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Joan was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Varga.

There will be no service or visitation at Joan’s request.
