Obituary

Kenneth E. Wheeler, 97 of Rockton, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence.

Born on March 3rd, 1925 in Rockton, PA to the late Virgil & Agnus Grace (Sheezer) Wheeler. He was married to Laura M. (Peters) Wheeler who preceded him in death in 2015. They had been married for 69 years.

Kenneth enlisted n the Navy at 17 and served on the USS Vulcan during WWII where he learned the trade of welding. After the war he and his family relocated to Buffalo, NY and he completed a successful career in welding at Niagara Machine and Tool Works, retiring in 1987 and then later moving back to his hometown of Rockton, PA in 1991. He always had a project going for him and his family.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his younger daughter Koren Wheeler (2014), his aforementioned wife Laura (2015) and older brother John (2017). He is survived by his oldest daughter Tonia F. Nappa, younger brother Virgil R. Wheeler and his grandson Kenneth E. Wheeler II.
