Larry DeJohn, Jr.

Larry DeJohn, Jr., 69, of Reynoldsville passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois. He was born on November 24, 1953 to the late Larry & Jean (Cowan) DeJohn. He married Rosemary (Flanders) on July 2nd, 1994; she survives.

Larry was a member of the Sykesville American Legion & the Sykesville Eagles. He loved farming, his animals, photography and rocking out to AC/DC.

Larry is also survived by his daughter Heather Ecklund of Brockport; two step-daughters, Tammy (Tim) Brindley of Valley Lee, MD and Tracy (Rob) Hillard of Sykesville; two grandsons, Garrett Ecklund of Brockport & Braeden Long of Brookville; two step-grandsons, Joshua & Noah Brindley of Valley Lee, MD and two brothers, Robert (Violet) DeJohn of Sykesville and Gary DeJohn of DuBois.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son Larry F. “Beaner” DeJohn, a sister Nancy Sheesly and a granddaughter Gabriella DeJohn.

A Celebration of Life event will be held on Saturday, January 28, at 5pm at the Sykesville Eagles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of Sykesville. Online condolences can be made at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com .
