Larry D. Kibble

Larry D. Kibble, 78, of Sykesville passed Wednesday morning September 29, 2021, formerly of Lake Station, IN. Larry was born in Centerville, TN, on May 31, 1943, the son of the late Charles W. & Dorothy (Garrett) Kibble. On June 25, 1988, he married Leslie Kibble, adding a daughter, Lisa, one year later. Larry was employed for over 40 years by Davey Tree Service, retiring in 2012. He was the owner/operator of his own lawn care business, L and L Lawn Service, where he worked closely with his grandson, James Sweka. Larry is survived by his wife Leslie, daughters, Sherri Kibble of TX, Tanya (Butch) Sweka of Sykesville, Kara (Toby) Wilson of Holt, MI, Jerren (Tony) Foth of Joliet, IL, and Lisa Kibble of Sykesville. Grandchildren surviving are Jerrod Wilson, James and Abigail Sweka, AJ and Addison Cantor, MacKenzie and Maci Foth. Larry is also survived by a sister Linda (Eddie) Herrin of Homosassa, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews also in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry D. Kibble, jr., a brother Chuck (Peggy) Kibble and a sister Dora Kibble. Larry was lifelong friends with Bill & Dana Granter, of Demotte, IN. He also leaves behind his treasured cat, Fattbutt.
