Louella Ruth (Wingrove) Bukowski

Louella Ruth (Wingrove) Bukowski, 99 of Falls Creek Pa passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Penn Highlands in DuBois, Pa. She was born on July 22, 1924. The daughter of the late Walter and Bessie (Hazelett) Wingrove. She was married to Chester “Cook” Bukowski on June 21, 1984. He preceded her in death in “2012”

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing games on her tablet. She especially liked talking to her family and friends on the phone. She had worked at Jackson China Company in Falls Creek, Pa and Brockway Glass Company in Brockway Pa for 42 years among other places of employment.

Survivors include her children: Susan Willhite (Douglas), Bonnie Bukowski, Barbara Blake (Bill), and Chester Bukowski (Tina); five grandchildren: Steven Willhite (Virginia), Amanda Blake, Valarie Blake Gamble (Curtis), Kayla Downing (Reese), and Christopher Bukowski; and four great grandchildren: Mark, Adria, Sylvie and Jory.

Louella was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; her husband, Chester Bukowski; and one son, Allen Wingrove.

A private graveside service will be held at Falls Creek Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois. Online condolences can be made at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com .
