Margaret E. (Christian) Cyphert

Margaret E. Cyphert, 96, DuBois, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Penn Highlands in Brookville. She was born February 24, 1928, in DuBois, the daughter of the late Mark & Pearl (Clouser) Christian. She married Robert Cyphert, he preceded her in death in 1990.

Margaret had previously worked for Nelson Tree Nursery before starting at Christ the King Manor as a Nursing Assistant where she had worked for 34yrs. She was a member of West Liberty Babtist Church.

Margaret leaves behind two daughters Marilyn Busatto, DuBois, Donald (Barbara) Cyphert, Louisville, OH, a sister Kathy (Albert) States, Reynoldsville, two brothers Charles (Amy) Christian, AZ and Tony (Marilyn) Christian, DuBois, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was also preceded in death by two sisters Rowene and Ruth and three brothers Dale, Delbert and Frederic.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11am until 1pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at 1pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Al Hewitt officiating. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
