Marlene Delree Bloom, 69, Stump Creek, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at her residence after a short illness. She was born March 29, 1949 in DuBois, PA. She is the daughter of the late Joseph & Angeline (Colosanto) Tabone. She married Donald Bloom on March 5, 1974, he survives in Stump Creek.
Marlene is also survived by a daughter Louise Diana Westcott of Stump Creek, four sisters, Christine Liberti of Buffalo, Josephine (Fred) Nichols of Westville, Mary (James) Deters of Reynoldsville and Diana (Randy) Walburn of Soldier, one step sister, Patricia Fields of Curwensville, a grandson Dalton King and numerous nieces & nephews.
Marlene was a 1968 graduate of DAHS. She loved to dance, crocheting, knitting and Rock & Roll music. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Sykesville as well as the Rosary Society of the Church and was an active volunteer for all dinners and fund raisers for the Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister Patty Roy and an infant brother Joseph John Tabone.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 9:45am at ABVM Church in Sykesville with Fr. Matias Quimno as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
