Obituary

Oliver Harry Snyder, III, “Sunny”, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Penn Highlands in DuBois. He was born February 22, 1963 in Punxsutawney, the son of the late Oliver & Barbara (Hoover) Snyder, Jr.

He leaves behind three children, Michelle (Jason Vantassel) Shuffstall, of Clearfield, Oliver Snyder, IV, of Brockway and Trisha Snyder of Virginia, a brother Michael (Audrey) Snyder of Reynoldsville, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Oliver was a graduate of Punxsutawney HS. He worked most of his life in construction, but was also a good auto mechanic. He enjoyed following racing, both local and national.

He was a member of the Sandy Club in DuBois and the Orient Club in Brockway.

In addition to his parents, Oliver was also preceded in death by a daughter Nikki Snyder, a brother Paul Snyder and a sister Constance “Connie” Simpson.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences can be made to www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com . Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
