Pamela Ann Kirk, 72, of Sabula Lake passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Christ the King Manor. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Leona (Thunberg) Kirk Sr. She made her home with Merle Green for 37 years.
Pam graduated from DuBois Area High School class of 1970. She also was a graduate of the Art institute of Pittsburgh and Clarion University earning MAs in Elementary and Special Education. She taught both Life Skills and Learning Support in the DuBois School District and Jeff Tech.
Pam was well known for her horsemanship skills with showing and wining many awards and championships along with judging at the local fairs. She took great pride and enjoyment at her home, her many collections, and graciously hosting the great Lake get-togethers through the years. Pam also enjoyed spending her winters in her Sebring, Florida home
She is survived by 3 step children and numerous nieces and nephews, their spouses, and great nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of her family proceeded in death by her parents, and brothers, Kenneth Charles Kirk Jr, and Douglas Scott Kirk.
Arrangements are in care of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Family and friends will be received Sunday, Oct. 5 from 3 p.m. to 6. p.m. A service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Final Resting place will take place in the Morningside Cemetery.
