Perry LeRoy Gelnett

Perry LeRoy Gelnett, 79, DuBois, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois. He was born June 30, 1945 in DuBois a son of the late George, Sr. & Anna Marie (Salada) Gelnett. He married Darla Ann (Miller) Gelnett. She survives in DuBois.

In addition to his wife. Perry also leaves behind a daughter Courtney Gelnett of Reynoldsville and a son Jonathan Gelnett and a brother Cecil Gelnett.

Perry graduated from DuBois High School. He had 23yrs of service with the US Navy Seabees having served three tours during Vietnam and achieving Seabee Chief rank before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, old cars and fixing things. He worked most of his life as a diesel mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Beth Ann Gelnett, sister Doris Kirk and brother George, jr.
