Phyliss M. (Cummings) Alanskas

Phyllis M. Alanskas, 66, DuBois, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Penn Highlands – DuBois. She was born on March 17, 1949 in Lock Haven, PA. She is the daughter of the late Henry and Clarice (Ringer) Cummings. She was married to Lawrence Alanskas, Sr. who preceded her in death. 

Phyllis is survived by her three children: Joseph Alanskas of Williamsport, Lori (Jeffrey) Sprague of DuBois and Diane Alanskas of DuBois; three step-children: Sherrie (Edward) Sierziga of DuBois, Carolyn (Michael) Sharp of DuBois and Lawrence (Christine) Alanskas, Jr of Falls Creek; three brothers, one sister, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Phyllis was also preceded in death by a son: Thomas Aikey 

Phyllis was a graduate of Lock Haven HS and had attended PA Academy of Cosmetology. She worked for Magnet Applications in DuBois. She loved doing whatever her grandchildren were doing.

Private services will be held at a later date.
