Randy “Skinny” Laverne Snyder, 62, of Reynoldsville, formerly of Dayton passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, after a battle with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma along with lung cancer. Randy was born September 5, 1963 to Bernice (Snyder) Beatty in Kittanning.
He enjoyed staying busy with his work from being a line man, to working construction, and maintenance for Pathstones, tinkering out in the garage, driving tractor’s, gardening, hunting and fishing. You would barley ever catch “Skinny” out and about without his flannel on and a cigarette in one hand and a coffee/ ice cold one in the other. He was the type of guy that was always up for a good chat or just ready to lend you a hand.
He is survived by his three children daughter Tabitha Snyder, two grandsons Levi and Colten, son Zachary (Dani) Snyder, five grandchildren Kiley, Levi, Remy, Hardin, and Watson, daughter Lakin (Shawn) Snyder, one grandson Kayden, a brother Jeff (Brenda) Snyder and two nieces Brooke and Mackenzie.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Beatty, grandfather Kenneth Snyder, and grandmother Catherine Snyder.
In Memory of Randy the family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. All donations are appreciated.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois. Online condolences and donations can be made at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com .
