Raymond J. Weisner 81, Harvey’s Run Road, Brockway slept quietly away at home June 19, 2016 surrounded in body and spirit by his wife and children. Ray was born September 16, 1934 and was a life long resident of Brockway. An accomplished master carpenter, he spent countless hours and years building structures, cabinets and numerous wood working projects. In 1968 he built what would serve as the family home to his loving wife Mary and their seven children. He was a graduate of Brockway Area High School and retired from Brockway Glass/Owens Illinois after 33 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed country music and reading his favorite western stories. Ray is survived by Mary Louise (Swanson) Weisner, his wife, with whom he would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on October 16th. He is also survived by  four sons: Donald Weisner, Goldsboro, NC, Michael Weisner, Brockway, George (Lisa) Weisner, DuBois, Ray (Kathy) Weisner, Reynoldsville, three daughters, Debbie Weisner, Brockway, Sandy (Shawn) Killian, Williamsport, Brenda (Michael) Keith, Brockway, seven grandchildren Doug and Sabrina Weisner, Goldsboro, NC, Devin, Ashley and Lindsay Keith of Brockway and Colby and Caitlyn Killian, Williamsport, two great-granddaughters Courtney and Kinley Weisner, Goldsboro NC, one brother Paul Weisner of FL and two sisters Pat Weilacher, Monroeville and Joyce Rebo, Emporium. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen Irene (Platco) Weisner and Raymond George Weisner, Brockway.

             A private service was held. The family will be excepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com. Memorial donations can be made in Ray’s honor to the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave, DuBois, PA 15801. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
