Richard Alan Siple, 65, Reynoldsville, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Penn Highlands Healthcare in Brookville. He was born December 29, 1959 in Erie; a son of the late Rev. Robert & Annett (Johnson) Siple, Jr.
He leaves behind two daughters, Tiffany (Zack Martin) Siple of Odessa, TX and Tara Siple of Sykesville and their mother Cindy (Orr) Crytser of DuBois, his significant other Vicky Jacobson of Reynoldsville, 7 grandchildren, a sister, Melissa Horner of Owensdale, and four brothers, Karl (Brenda) Siple of Dawson, Thomas Siple of Latrobe, Donald “Glen” (Shelly) Siple of Connellsville and Russell Siple of Falls Creek and his step-mother Angeline (Grasso) Siple of Sykesville.
Richard graduated from Waynesburg Central High School in 1979. He had previously worked at Kohlhepp’s, Green Acres and Utilities and Industries. He was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 540 in Reynoldsville. He liked gardening, fishing, hunting, and going camping. He liked most of all spending time with family and friends.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2pm until 4pm at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow at 4pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Lutcher officiating.
