Robert Mark Coleman

Robert Mark Coleman, 36, of DuBois, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born June 22, 1986 in DuBois, PA. He was the son of Donald M. & Penny L. (Bishop) Coleman of DuBois, PA.

Robert was a 2004 graduate of DuBois Area High School. He worked as a mechanic prior to enlisting in the US Army as a Specialist who served from July 10, 2008 until his Honorable Discharge on May 10, 2012. He had toured in Afghanistan during that time. Robert was also a truck driver for Prime Inc, Millis, ZTI, and J&M Leasing for several years after his military career.

Robert greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeler and motorcycle riding, as well as playing guitar and he loved animals.

In addition to his parents, Robert leaves behind a brother Steven E. Coleman of Sykesville, maternal grandparents Ronald & Helen Bishop of Falls Creek, maternal aunt and uncles John & Tammy Meholick of Reynoldsville and Perry Coleman of Florida, paternal aunt and uncle Joseph & Jodi Leonard of Sykesville, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Donald & Ruth Coleman of Sykesville and a paternal uncle David M. Coleman of Reynoldsville.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4 until 7pm and on Friday, from 10 until 11am at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Services will follow on Friday at the Funeral Home at 11am with Rev. Jerry Spencer officiating.
