Rodger L Shoup

Rodger L Shoup, 56 of DuBois formerly of Altoona, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017 at PinnacleHealth Harrisburg Hospital. He was born May 29, 1960 in Altoona; son of the late Walter and Betty (Bartley) Shoup.

He was a graduate of Altoona High School

He was married to Linda (Jones) Shoup, she survives in Treasure Lake. He is also survived by his two children Jason (Rebecca) Shoup of DuBois and Nicholas “Nick” (Kaitie) Shoup of Las Vegas and two grandchildren Tyler and Jennifer.

He was an owner operator leased to Landstar Trucking. He was a member and volunteer of the American Youth Soccer Association, PA interscholastic Athletic Association as a soccer official, and National Intercollegiate soccer official Association as referee. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 1 until 3p.m. and 5 until 7p.m. at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois a service will be held on Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend David Nagele officiating. Burial will take place in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in DuBois.
