Ronald "Dewey" J. McConnell

Ronald J. “Dewey” McConnell, 86, Reynoldsville, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1939, in Brookville, PA. He is a son of the late John R. & Edna L. (Irvin) McConnell. He married Karen L. (Ross) McConnell, she survives in Reynoldsville.

He is a graduate of DuBois High School. He had previously worked as a farmer and more recently as a Mac truck driver. He was a lifetime member of Falls Creek Eagles and he enjoyed his dogs.

Ronald is survived by his wife, 5 children; Ronald A. (Jennie) McConnell of Poconos, Valerie (Donnie) Ogden of Brockway, Harold McConnell of Monroeville, NJ, Vicki (Larry) Harrigton of Georgia and Dennis (Tammy) McConnell of Falls Creek, a step-son; Kelly Bundy of Reynoldsville, a brother; Bruce (Evelyn) McConnell, 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was also preceded in death by a daughter Wendy and a brother Walter.
