Virginia Siverling Obituary

Virginia L. “Cookie” Siverling, 93, Sabula, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at her residence. She was born April 12, 1928 in Weedville, PA. She is the daughter of the late Betsy (McCaferty) Bennett. She married Howard “Windy” Siverling on July 25, 1947; he preceded her in death in 2003.

Virginia leaves behind her son Byron (Cindy) Siverling of Penfield, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Having been a homemaker most of her life, Virginia also enjoyed putting puzzles together and she had a green thumb when it came to her houseplants.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter Margaret “Peg” Trenn, a sister, Nancy Russel and a brother, John Graham.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home.
