William Vance Wagoner, Sr.

William Vance Wagoner, Sr. 80, formerly of DuBois, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, in Wilkesboro, NC after a lengthy illness. He was born October 03, 1937, son of the late John & Beulah Wagoner. After the passing of his first wife, Shelda L. (Solada) on Aug 14, 1982, he met and married Doris A. (Mackey) who survives in Wilkesboro, NC.

William is also survived by a daughter Dorothy Spencer of DuBois, a step-daughter Brenda (Mackey) Rhodes of Newport News, VA, four grandchildren, Chris Hetrick of DuBois, Brandy Hetrick of Penfield, Crystal Vicklund of Clearfield and Billy Spencer of Curwensville, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

William liked racing, working on cars & “Sipping on his homemade shine”.

In addition to his parents and 1st wife, he was also preceded in death by a son William “Buddy” Wagoner.
