Inga Joann (Burley) Pierce

            Inga Joann Pierce, 75, Big Run, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Punxsutawney Hospital after a short illness. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Westville, PA, the daughter of the late Willard & Selma (Lundblad) Burley.

            Inga was a 1958 graduate of DuBois Area High School. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, and walking. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her handicapped son. She lived most of her life in the DuBois and Sykesville area.

            Inga is survived by her three children Rhonda Pierce of Big Run, Ricky Pierce of Punxsutawney and Tina (Mark) Carlson of Reynoldsville, a sister Mary Boleen of Falls Creek, a brothr Carl Burley of New York, six grandchildren Tori (Andrew) Knapp of West Virginia, Brandy Pierce of DuBois, Derek Pierce of Reynoldsville, Jimmy Duttry of Big Run, Zach Carlson and Chris Carlson both of Reynoldsville and five great-grandchildren.

                        Inga was also preceded in death by a sister Janice Penvose.
